As a designer on the Digital Direct team at DIRECTV, I undertook a comprehensive audit of the checkout process for our DTVi (internet & streaming) and DTVs (Satellite) products. This initiative involved a meticulous review of the existing designs, leading to the implementation of an improved design system that revitalized our brand’s aesthetic and user engagement.

Recognizing the importance of accessibility and optimized user experience, I conducted a thorough evaluation of the entire customer journey. My objective was to enhance the usability of the site, ultimately reducing cart abandonment rates, less errors, and less need for customer service. Under the guidance of our lead designer and the head of the design system, I meticulously crafted and executed this transformative process, ensuring that every element aligns with industry best practices while delivering a seamless and modern checkout experience for our customers.
